AT with flarechess: Ragged Memories

Lol what is volcano?? Zezima tail fail! I'm spoiling you with two uploads in the same day! 
This piece was inspired by flarechess's character's backstory. One part really stuck out to me, though:

He lost his precious floatie scarf while chasing after Meris after a really bad argument that almost resulted in both of their deaths.

Now, I don't know what possessed me to do this, but I wanted to make a scenario about a character. Like a what if scene? What if the scarf washed ashore and Zezima found it?
Or maybe I just wanted to make someone cry.   //notcreepyatall. The water was a fun challenge! That sand doe...it kinda sucks! :'D 
I wanted to do a piece of art that meant something, go the distance, man!!  I love doing emotional pieces so much! This pic skirts the line of cartoon and anime... Imma call it a cartoon!
